Le Louise MGallery is a great hotel for a city break in Brussels. Read my Le Louise MGallery hotel review to find out more about the hotel
Getting to Le Louise Hotel in Brussels
Le Louise hotel has one of the best locations in Brussels. It is on the small ring road, where most luxury shops are located.
I came by train from London and took a Taxi from Brussels Midi, which was frustrating. I had to get in the queue and wait 45 minutes to get a Taxi. I also tried to order a Uber car, but the wait was also very long, and a few Uber drivers canceled on me.
TIP: Fortunately, Le Louise hotel is located a minute’s walk from the Subway station. So if you see a long line at the taxi stand, the subway is also an option ( Stop Louise). It is a direct line from the Gare du Midi and will take less than 10 minutes.
Once in the hotel, check-in was a breeze. The lobby is above an escalator. A porter was waiting downstairs by the street and took my bags.
The lobby is decorated with images and art from Belgium. The smurf sculpture is a nice touch!
Check-in was fast and friendly, and within 5 minutes, I was in my room with my bags.

Review of the Room at Le Louise hotel in Brussels
The rooms, in particular, are one of the best features of the hotel. The hotel has just been renovated, and the renovation is a success. The architecture of the room is kept minimal yet modern. Most importantly, the colours, furniture, and the whole setting of the room offer instant comfort to its guests. The room has a stylish wooden floor, classic white walls with blackout curtains, and is lit with both natural and artificial light. So while the room is not the biggest you can find in Brussels, it is highly comfortable.
The room has a king-size bed with a super comfortable double mattress. The feather duvet is divine, and I slept so well! The room is equipped with many furniture pieces, such as a comfy grey couch and a coffee table. Despite getting a room n the 5th floor, the view was not fantastic as it faces the building in the street opposite.
Every room has tea and espresso facilities with a coffee/tea maker and an electric kettle. The coffee machine is Nespresso, and high-quality tea is also offered.
The rooms also have a flat-screen TV, radio, and Wi-Fi facilities. The room was impeccably clean. The minibar was empty but for two bottles of complimentary drinking water.
I liked the “Belgian specialties offered in the room. The babeluttes and speculoos are too typical Belgian delicacies, and they are a must-try!
The room has a large safety box with a charging plug inside, which is an excellent idea if you want to charge your laptop while it is in the safety box. Overall, the room offers a subtle and comfortable atmosphere to its guests.
Review of the bathroom of Le Louise Hotel Brussels
The bathroom is compact but stylish and equipped with all the essentials. The bathroom is well-lit. All the fixtures are brand-new, clean, and hygienic. You will like the rainfall showerhead. The shower has high-pressure water. I like that they separated the showerhead from the faucet so you can turn on the shower without getting soaked.
Along with it, you get your bathrobes, slippers, and hairdryer. Plenty of plush towels are available.
Amenities are from Loccitane. They did away with small plastic bottles, which is excellent for the planet. I loved the smell of the body soap and the shampoo.
Review of the Facilities at Le Louise Hotel Brussels
The Louise hotel is a city hotel. It, however, offers a large outdoor terrace. The terrace was being renovated during my stay but should be ready by June, and it looks like it will be spectacular.
The Gym
If you are one of those fitness freaks who cannot skip their gym routine even when traveling, you have nothing to worry about at the gym at le Louise hotel. It is small but well equipped. The hotel’s gym provides advanced gym equipment. You will find the most essential fitness machinery that suits your regime, from free weights to cardiovascular equipment. Overall, the gym has a modern athletic vibe with a silver metallic outlook. It is spacious and well-lit.
The bar and the restaurant
The lobby is surrounded by a bar and a restaurant called Maison Louise.
The bar is stylish and has a great selection of Belgian beers and cocktails. It was often busy during my stay.
The hotel has a gourmet restaurant. It is a spacious dining area and has a contemporary architectural style. The restaurant has a great ambiance with large windows facing the avenue. Besides ordering from the A la carte menu, you can also enjoy their breakfast buffet and brunch on Sundays.
Sunday brunch at Maison Louise at le Louise hotel.
I tried the Sunday brunch at Maison Louise, and it was a great experience. The buffet is small, but don’t let that fool you. The quality on offer is very high. Cold cuts, cheeses, and small dishes are available. They even had burrata cheeses. Besides the buffet, you can also order eggs. The eggs benedict with truffles was very popular.
The brunch costs 40 Euros per person. It includes a glass of sparkling wine and a tea or coffee. It is an excellent value for a relaxed Sunday meal.
Tip: If you want the best table in the window, make sure you book ahead
It is an excellent option for families with kids as a room is fully dedicated to kids with games and entertainment.
