Paradero Villas opens on 15 November 2026 — 24 one-to-three-bedroom villas with plunge pools and rooftop lounges joining Baja’s most acclaimed design hotel, with a new infinity pool, Southern Italian restaurant Cosimo, and rates from US$1,275.
Since it opened in February 2021, Paradero Todos Santos has been the design-world’s answer to Los Cabos: 42 adults-only suites in earthy neo-Brutalist concrete on a 160-acre estate near Baja’s Pacific surf town, with a Michelin-recognized restaurant, experiences baked into the rate, and a strict no-kids policy that was part of the identity. On 15 November 2026, that identity gets its most interesting revision — Paradero Villas opens as a dedicated family quarter, and the adults-only icon becomes an estate with two distinct worlds on it.

Why Splitting the Estate Is Smart
Adults-only was Paradero’s calling card, and diluting it would have been the obvious mistake. The villa solution avoids it: families get their own quarter, their own pool, their own restaurant — Cosimo’s Southern Italian is a shrewd choice, being the one cuisine every generation orders happily — while the original suites, TENOCH and the spa keep their grown-up hush. It’s the same two-worlds logic the best Maldivian islands use, applied to the Baja desert. And the family brief is genuinely underserved here: Todos Santos has grown into the soulful counterpart to the Los Cabos corridor, but its boutique hotels have never had a true luxury family product at this level.
The Baja Context, From Experience
Todos Santos sits on the Pacific side of the peninsula — surf, farmland and big-sky desert — while the marine spectacles this site cares about most are over the ridge in the Sea of Cortez: the whale sharks of La Paz run roughly October to April, and Cabo Pulmo’s reef sits across the cape. Paradero’s own answer is the Paradero at the Sea catamaran, taking guests onto the Cortez for multiple nights — the estate’s built-in bridge between its desert and Baja’s water. It also means the peninsula now has serious openings on both coasts this season: Amanvari on the East Cape for the Sea of Cortez, Paradero Villas above the Pacific — a genuine two-stop Baja itinerary for the first time. Tip: a November opening means the villas debut exactly as whale shark season starts in La Paz, two hours north — pair a villa week with a day (or the catamaran) on the Cortez side and the kids will never forgive any other holiday again.
How Much Does Paradero Cost?
A note on the links in this section: they are for the original adults-only hotel, not the villas. Paradero Villas is direct-only until it opens, so no third-party site sells it and no third-party price for it exists yet. What the OTAs can show you is what this address charges — a useful benchmark, but the inventory they are selling is the 42 adults-only suites, where children are not permitted.
For a midweek stay just after the villas debut (Tue 17 to Thu 19 November 2026, two adults), the entry category is the Garden Suite Hammock, and the two OTAs that carry Paradero land on the same US$1,184 two-night total including taxes and fees — they simply display it differently. Expedia (adults-only suites) shows it as US$445 a night, marked down from US$1,314: cheapest headline number, but that price is non-refundable and full flexibility costs US$130 more. Trip.com (adults-only suites) shows it as US$498 a night with free cancellation until 3 November and pay-at-hotel included, plus all-inclusive packages from US$1,361 a night: the better pick if you want flexibility or the food-and-transfers bundle priced in. Booking.com does not list Paradero at all.
Which is why none of the above helps a family: the suites are closed to children, leaving the villas and the US$1,275 direct rate as the only route.
